## Description

Ninsei Do is a Danish martial arts and self-defence system rooted in ninjutsu, combining practical techniques with principles of personal development and awareness. Its training is designed for different bodies, abilities and situations, ranging from gentle, controlled self-defence against an untrained person to more demanding martial and combat applications. Students learn techniques associated with ninjutsu, boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu and escrima, including unarmed and armed methods, standing and ground work, restraint, takedowns and protection of others. Training involves physical contact, which may be increased with protective equipment, but the organisation does not use formal sparring, point fighting or kata demonstrations. Ninsei Do also explores ninpo, including breathing exercises, meditation, balance, philosophy and spiritual practices; participation in these aspects is a personal choice. Classes are run through independent associations, and the website currently identifies an active club in Nykøbing Falster. For workplaces where physical conflicts may occur, the related ND-SEC service offers courses in personal and staff protection, as an alternative to regular weekly training.
