## Description

National Institute of Technology Manipur (NIT Manipur) is a public technical institute in Imphal, India. It began its first academic session on 2 August 2010 at the Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus, offering three engineering disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. The institute now operates from its permanent campus at Langol, Imphal, on land spanning 341.5 acres, and has added Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

NIT Manipur provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral study opportunities. Its programmes include B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc. and PhD courses, supported by departments in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
