## Description

The North Jersey Astronomical Group (NJAG) is a vibrant astronomy club that has inspired stargazers since 1981. With nearly 100 members, NJAG is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the universe, welcoming both novice and experienced astronomers. The group organizes a variety of public events, including weekly Telescope Nights and a compelling monthly lecture series during the spring and fall, enabling thousands to discover the night sky through hands-on experiences. NJAG is affiliated with the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey and the International Dark Sky Association, underscoring its commitment to astronomy education and light pollution awareness. Monthly meetings take place at Montclair State University, where members can share insights and engage with expert speakers. The club also maintains an active presence on social media and offers a YouTube channel featuring event recordings. Whether you're interested in astrophotography or simply gazing at stars, NJAG invites you to join their community and participate in exciting astronomical activities.
