## Description

**Description for Brand: Netherlands Journal of Geosciences**

The Netherlands Journal of Geosciences (NJG) is a prestigious open-access journal dedicated to advancing geoscience research with a focus on areas of international interest, including the Netherlands and the North Sea region. As a continuation of the previously established publications by the Royal Geological and Mining Society of the Netherlands and TNO Geological Survey, NJG covers a wide array of geoscience topics such as geology, hydro(geo)logy, paleontology, and hydrocarbon exploration.

Published in full color, NJG aims to disseminate significant research findings and scholarly articles that contribute to the understanding of geoscience. Although it will cease publication with Cambridge University Press on December 31, 2024, the journal will continue under Open Academia starting January 1, 2025, ensuring uninterrupted access to ambitious geological studies. The journal is committed to providing researchers with a platform to share their insights and advancements in the field, thus fostering academic collaboration and knowledge growth within the geosciences.
