## Description

New Jersey League of Conservation Voters (New Jersey LCV) is a statewide political voice for environmental protection in New Jersey. The organization advocates for policies and laws that protect clean air and clean water, preserve open spaces and parks, and promote equitable access to these resources. It also amplifies the perspectives of underserved communities that often face disproportionate environmental harm, with the goal of helping all communities thrive for generations to come.

New Jersey LCV works to advance its mission through electoral engagement and public accountability. It evaluates elected officials’ environmental records, endorses candidates who support environmental protection, and helps elect and retain environmental champions. The organization also tracks policy and legislative activity, provides resources such as scorecards and guides for lawmakers, and encourages residents to contact their representatives on issues including clean energy and fossil fuel development. Its advocacy covers open space, water, air, climate change, offshore wind, and plastics.
