## Description

Nauborner Karnevals Club e.V. (NKC) is a carnival club based in Nauborn, a community in Wetzlar, Germany. The volunteer-led organisation brings residents and carnival enthusiasts together to celebrate the annual Fassenacht season through themed campaigns, performances and social events. Each season features a distinct theme, with recent celebrations drawing inspiration from the gods of Olympus, circus acts and the music and style of the 1950s rock’n’roll era.

The club’s activities include organising carnival sessions and parties, with its main show held at the Bürgerhaus Nauborn. Its programme showcases speakers, dancers and musicians, and offers opportunities for members and guests to enjoy performances and meet fellow carnival groups. The NKC also supports dance groups for different ages, including a Minigarde for children and the performance group Black Illusion. The club’s dancers have received the City of Wetzlar’s Minneburg youth award, reflecting their commitment and achievements.

Alongside its own events, the NKC participates in gatherings hosted by partner clubs.
