# NM Prickly Pear Festival - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nm-prickly-pear-festival.myshopify.com` ## Description The New Mexico Prickly Pear Festival is an annual celebration of prickly pear, local culture, food, art, and community. Now in its eighth year, the festival takes place at the Gutierrez Hubbell House and brings together vendors, artists, cooks, musicians, educators, and visitors for a lively program. Its marketplace features more than 60 vendors offering prickly pear foods and drinks, arts, crafts, and other local products. Across two days, attendees can enjoy cooking demonstrations and learn to prepare prickly pear dishes at home, make cocktails and nonalcoholic mixed drinks, and take part in creative workshops. Activities include block printing, watercolor painting, and natural dyeing with prickly pear cochineal, alongside programming for children. Live music and talks add to the experience, including sessions for farmers, ranchers, and gardeners on incorporating prickly pear and other native plants into their systems. With its blend of food, hands-on learning, local products, and entertainment, the festival offers a welcoming way to explore the many uses and traditions surrounding prickly pear. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Holidays and Seasonal Events _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/nmpricklypearfest) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/nmpricklypearfest) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idIHUgnpRN/w/260/h/300/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793927535889) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idIHUgnpRN/w/1771/h/1771/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793927536434) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Disco | #881845 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Cabin — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ - Cabin — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
