## Description

The National Metrology Institute of Malaysia (NMIM) is Malaysia’s national institute for metrology, responsible for establishing, maintaining, and disseminating Malaysian Standard Time. Its work supports trusted measurement, confidence in trade, and improved quality of life. Based in Sepang, Selangor, NMIM provides a range of measurement-related services and programs for organisations and customers.

Its offerings include accredited and non-accredited calibration, verification and validation, field audit work, and pattern approval services, with information on approved patterns and application procedures. NMIM also delivers proficiency testing and measurement audits, including program details, request forms, and appeal processes. For skills development, its Metrology Skill Program provides a planner and registration information. The institute also features Malaysia Reference Materials and the MyReM resource, alongside metrology-related training and services. Customers can request a quotation or contact NMIM for support. Through these activities, NMIM helps users access measurement services, technical programs, and reference resources within Malaysia.
