## Description

The New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) is a statewide organization supporting firearm owners and shooting sports in New Mexico. Founded in 1935, it works to uphold Second Amendment rights through advocacy, education, and community engagement. Its mission pairs the defense of firearm ownership rights with an emphasis on safe, responsible shooting practices.

NMSSA brings together a community of shooting sports enthusiasts and offers programs and events intended to encourage responsible firearm use and preserve the traditions of the sport. The association also works to protect the rights of its members and promote awareness of the responsibilities that come with firearm ownership. Visitors can learn about the organization, explore its events and news, connect with sponsors and related resources, and find membership information. The website also provides opportunities to donate and participate in a raffle, helping supporters engage with the association’s work. Through these activities, NMSSA aims to serve gun owners across New Mexico while fostering a knowledgeable, safety-conscious community committed to protecting their rights.
