## Description

Noa’s Place is a registered charity based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, supporting neurodivergent and disabled children, adults, and their families across Calderdale. Established in 2025 by Josh Barnes, the organisation grew from his experience as a father and aims to help families feel supported, seen, and valued. Its free, welcoming SEND sensory sessions offer calm, inclusive play for pre-school and home-educated children with additional needs; no diagnosis is required. Family drop-ins provide a safe space for parents, carers, and grandparents, while additional sensory sessions run during school holidays.

Noa’s Place also offers practical resources and interactive tools for children, adults, and caregivers. These include activities covering feelings, transitions, sensory needs, personal profiles, and preparing for childcare or school meetings. Families can also find guidance, stories, and community updates through its website and blog.

The charity is developing a long-term vision for the Noa’s Place Hub, a sensory-aware community home in Halifax with inclusive play, calm spaces, and practical support. Donations help fund its tools, sessions, and family support.
