Its family-friendly dojo combines martial arts instruction with Biblical principles, emphasizing respect, humility, perseverance, self-control, and personal growth. NCMA teaches Iesu Karate Do, an eclectic self-defense style developed by Paul Lepkowski and Benjamin Nickels, drawing on Karate, Taekwondo, Jujitsu, and Hapkido. Training prioritizes simple, practical techniques, using the minimum force needed to protect oneself or others and encouraging students to escape conflict or restrain an attacker.
