## Description

Nofumadores.org is a leading citizen association in Spain dedicated to defending the right to live free from tobacco smoke and vapors. As a non-profit, apolitical, and non-denominational organization, it focuses on ensuring compliance with existing tobacco legislation while advocating for stronger policies to combat smoking and protect non-smokers. The organization conducts various campaigns aimed at creating smoke-free environments in public spaces, including beaches, parks, and terraces.

Key initiatives include the “First Generation Free of Tobacco” campaign, which aims for a tobacco-free generation in Spain by 2030, and efforts to establish areas such as "Smoke-Free Beaches" and "Smoke-Free Parks." Nofumadores.org collaborates with other organizations to promote awareness and enhance regulations related to tobacco control. Recognized with several accolades, including the World No Tobacco Day Award from WHO in 2022, the organization also invites individuals to join their cause and contribute towards a healthier society. Through its comprehensive approach, Nofumadores.org champions the rights of non-smokers and pushes for legislative changes in tobacco control.
