## Description

NoHo PALS, the operating name of East Valley Police Activity League Supporters Inc., is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has supported the LAPD’s North Hollywood Division since 1968. Its mission is to help provide resources that the City budget may not cover, while strengthening ties between officers and the East Valley community. The organization raises funds and directs financial support to the North Hollywood station, with every dollar raised staying within the Division.

NoHo PALS helps fund essential equipment purchases and supplements officers’ training fees. It also sustains LAPD-sponsored youth programs, particularly the Cadet and Jeopardy programs, which offer local teens mentorship, structure, and opportunities to develop discipline and community service. In addition, the organization acts as a communication conduit between residents and the LAPD, supporting community policing.

Community events, including an annual appreciation luncheon and golf tournament, bring supporters and the Division together and help fund the organization’s work. Donations and event sponsorships contribute to officer resources and youth programs.
