## Description

Nola Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with its flagship school at 4521 Magazine Street. Established in the late 1990s, it grew from a small group of grappling enthusiasts into what it describes as New Orleans’ oldest and largest BJJ school. The organization has more than 50 black belts across four locations in the metropolitan area and serves over 300 local students, while also welcoming visiting practitioners. Its identity reflects the resilience and community spirit of New Orleans.

Nola Jiu Jitsu offers programs for children and adults, including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, women’s Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and judo. Classes support martial arts skill development, self-defense, fitness, confidence, discipline, and community connection. The school also provides personal training and fitness services in a private gym with 24/7 access and expert trainers. Prospective students can request information or try a free class. With welcoming instruction and programs for different ages and goals, Nola Jiu Jitsu combines martial arts training with a community-oriented gym experience.
