## Description

Kunstencentrum nona is a welcoming arts centre in Mechelen, Belgium, bringing together visual art, dance, music and theatre. It describes itself as a creative home and meeting place for artistic work, presenting performances, concerts, exhibitions and participatory projects across a varied programme.

Nona’s activities include Contour Series, a programme of visual and audiovisual exhibitions and projects, and Nova Express, an intimate jazz club featuring artists from Belgium and abroad. The centre also works with JazzLab on concert tours and events, and hosts the BRAND! jazz festival. Its theatre programme includes productions by Abattoir Fermé, with performances for adults and children, as well as festivals and other stage events.

Alongside professional performances and exhibitions, nona supports social and artistic collaboration through STAMPPOT, a multi-year project involving non-professional performers and participants from diverse backgrounds. Visitors can attend events, buy tickets and subscriptions, or enquire about hosting their own event in the venue.
