## Description

Noordelijke Zwemacademie is a swimming education provider serving northern Netherlands, helping children learn to swim with trusted, professional guidance. Its team of experienced swimming instructors offers lessons for ABC swimming diplomas, Spido swimming, snorkelling, private instruction, school swimming and survival swimming. The academy takes an individual approach, drawing on knowledge of pedagogy and anatomy to respond to each child’s character and identify challenges that may affect progress. Instructors work with parents to agree on a plan and focus on achieving each swimmer’s goals.

Lessons are available at private or public swimming pools, making the service adaptable to different locations. The academy prepares children for diplomas issued by Zwemonderwijs Nederland (ZON), which oversees examinations; lessons, assessments and exams follow national guidelines. Its standards also emphasize swimmer safety and survival skills. The academy says it has supported children who went on to compete at a high level in Dutch competitions. Founded by Farhad Ashouri, Noordelijke Zwemacademie presents its work as serious, goal-focused swimming education rather than a recreational “fun package.”.
