## Description

Noosa Masters Swimming Club is a community swimming club based at the Noosa Aquatic Centre in Sunshine Beach, Queensland. It welcomes swimmers aged 18 and over, with sessions suitable for a range of ages and abilities. The club swims year-round in the centre’s heated pools and offers coached squad sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings.

Tuesday sessions focus primarily on the Endurance 1000 program, with distance swims ranging from 400 metres to one hour across different strokes. Thursday and Sunday sessions emphasise fitness and stroke correction, with swimmers grouped into lanes according to ability. Newcomers can try two or three sessions before discussing membership, and visiting Masters swimmers are welcome; a $6 donation is requested for each squad session attended.

The club has four lanes available during coached sessions and encourages members to gather for coffee and conversation afterward. Its achievements include winning the national top-scoring club award for the Vorgee Endurance 1000 program for 12 consecutive years.
