## Description

Nordhand is an online marketplace that gives independent craftspeople a place to present and sell their work. Rather than operating as a conventional corporate retailer, the platform connects customers directly with individual makers, with each purchase going to the person who created the item. Artisans personally pack and ship their products, keeping the people behind the craftsmanship central to the experience.

The collection features handmade goods for everyday use and the home, including sheep-wool baskets, a wool bag, and wooden birdhouses. Products are listed by their makers or by Nordhand, and the site showcases the stories and skills behind the work. Nordhand’s aim is to support traditional and independent craftsmanship and help makers remain visible alongside mass-produced goods. The company says it funds its work through advertising in its magazine and support from people who believe craftspeople deserve better opportunities. Customer reviews highlight the quality of the workmanship, thoughtful packaging, and personal touches. Nordhand presents itself as a home for distinctive, handmade objects and for the people who make them.
