# Nordic Aging Society - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nordicaging.org` ## Description The Nordic Aging Society (NAS) is a scientific community that connects researchers, clinicians, and innovators across the Nordic region and beyond to advance understanding of the biology of aging. Its work focuses on uncovering the molecular, cellular, and physiological mechanisms of aging and translating discoveries into strategies that support healthier, longer lives. Building on Nordic strengths in biomedical research, international collaboration, and population-based health studies, NAS promotes interdisciplinary exchange and links regional research with the global scientific community. The Society supports its community through scientific meetings, educational initiatives, collaborative opportunities, and programs for early-career researchers. Its annual meeting brings together specialists for scientific sessions, selected research presentations, posters, and discussion on topics including genome stability, omics, stem cells and metabolism, neurodegeneration, and theories of aging. NAS also runs Young-NAS, a seminar series where PhD students and postdoctoral researchers can present their work to peers and established researchers. Membership offers scientists a way to join the Society’s network, while donations help support research connections, early-career scientists, and progress toward healthy longevity. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Biology _(under Science and Education)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Geriatric and Aging Care _(under Health)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/NordicAging) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhyRcRH3D/w/427/h/600/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793027457354) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhyRcRH3D/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793027457579) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Crimson | #c91530 | accent | | Big Stone | #162033 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
