## Description

The Nordic Fencing Union (NFU) is a regional organisation that brings together the Nordic fencing community and promotes cooperation across the sport. Its stated vision is to serve as a strong regional hub, strengthening development, sustainability and the Nordic voice in international fencing. The Union emphasises collective action, with progress built through the contributions of volunteers, coaches, referees, organisers, parents and fencers.

NFU’s work includes supporting coordination among its members and helping the community engage with fencing administration and development. Its official website provides information about member organisations, the Union’s statutes and board, referee matters, meeting minutes and administrative arrangements. It also serves as a resource for competitions, including rules, invitations and results, and publishes information on compensation.

Through these activities, NFU connects people and organisations involved in Nordic fencing and encourages them to work together. Its message is that a united regional community can support the sport through many practical contributions, while representing Nordic fencing with a clear, collaborative voice.
