## Description

Nordjyllandsfonden is a Danish foundation that supports communities through donations for projects in culture, leisure and social welfare. Formerly known as Spar Nord Fonden, it changed its name after its board accepted an offer from Nykredit for the foundation’s shares in Spar Nord Bank in 2025. While the name has changed, its commitment to strengthening connection and belonging remains, and it supports communities across Denmark.

The foundation prioritises cultural projects that make creative experiences accessible to a wide audience, particularly children, young people and people less familiar with cultural life. Its social grants support initiatives aimed at preventing social challenges and promoting wellbeing, positive relationships and opportunities for people experiencing vulnerability or hardship. In leisure, it backs local activities, associations, volunteers and community initiatives that bring people together to learn, participate and enjoy shared experiences.

Nordjyllandsfonden also runs 10 til Forskel, a monthly opportunity offering DKK 10,000 for a local project that engages participants and builds community.
