Its work focuses on preserving and documenting the customs, traditions, arts, crafts, and history of the Nordpfalz. The association publishes writings on local and regional history and organizes events that bring the area’s past to a wider audience. Since 1982, it has held an annual symposium during the Nordpfälzer Herbstfest, featuring talks on regional history; its annual general meeting also includes a scholarly lecture. A central part of the association’s work is the Nordpfälzer Heimatmuseum, which it established and continues to support. It also maintains a library and archive, providing resources for historical inquiry. The association is particularly interested in supporting young researchers studying the Nordpfalz’s recent and contemporary history in relation to events in Germany and the wider world. Through its publications, museum, collections, and public programs, the Nordpfälzer Geschichtsverein works to preserve local heritage and encourage research into the region’s past. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idAF5Cn9p0/w/150/h/154/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792885298716) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Old Brick | #941c1b | accent | | Cello | #1f275f | dark | | Eunry | #d0ab98 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
