BlueNord is an Oslo Stock Exchange listed oil and gas company, formerly known as Norwegian Energy Company ASA (“Noreco”). With a focus on the North Sea, BlueNord is the second-largest oil and gas producer in Denmark. BlueNord operates in the Danish North Sea with a non-operated interest in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC). The DUC holds 15 fields with a production history of over 50 years, export pipelines, and infrastructure. BlueNord's share of production was 26,700 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in 2022, set to more than double with the redevelopment of the Tyra field. This redevelopment will increase production to over 55,000 boe/d, extend production to 2042, reduce field emissions by 30%, lower operational expenses significantly, and unlock reserves exceeding 200 mmboe. BlueNord aims to balance energy security and the demands of the energy transition towards a Net Zero society. They invest in emissions reduction initiatives, offset carbon-intensive energy sources, and make the necessary supply investments to ensure affordable energy prices. With a strong focus on sustainability, BlueNord is committed to delivering long-term value for shareholders while supporting the global energy mix.
