## Description

Its approach is to work with natural materials without chemically altering them, creating packaging designed to fit existing production systems. The company’s materials are designed with regulatory compliance in mind and to support plastic-free applications under the PPWR.

Its first featured product, norifresh™, is a seaweed-based packaging film for fresh produce, developed for top-seal packaging. The film is designed to run on existing production and converting infrastructure, helping manufacturers and brands move away from fossil-based plastics without changing their core processes. Seaweed is central to noriware’s innovation: it captures carbon as it grows and does not compete for agricultural land.

Beyond developing materials, noriware works with partners to address packaging challenges and conducts packaging trials, including applications for fresh berries. The company shares product and industry updates and invites prospective partners to get in touch about solutions suited to today’s manufacturing needs. Its work focuses on making lower-impact packaging materials practical for industrial adoption.
