## Description

Norsk Test develops and operates competence platforms for government agencies, industries and businesses, helping organizations assess, certify and document professional skills. Established in 2001, the Norwegian company combines secure testing with practical expertise and supports programs including the Boating Licence Test, financial industry authorization schemes, customs certification, the F-gas regulation and other professional examinations.

Its Yerbu platform brings together competence planning, question-bank development, test creation and delivery, analytics, candidate records and certificates. Subject experts retain editorial control over questions, with AI support available during development. Candidates can take tests at a test centre, at their workplace or remotely through Yerbu Live, which uses identity checks and real-time remote supervision.

Norsk Test also offers portals, dashboards, booking calendars, payment solutions, e-learning, digital certificates and APIs for integration with clients’ systems. For organizations needing more than standard products, it builds tailored solutions that can include candidate registers and portals. The company operates a nationwide test-centre network and manages the Boat Licence Register on behalf of the Norwegian Maritime Authority.
