## Description

North Bloodstock is a thoroughbred nursery and bloodstock operation located in the Hunter Valley, approximately 12 minutes from Scone, New South Wales. Owned and operated by Michael “Mick” Malone and Pauline Alix, the business draws on more than 50 years of combined industry experience. Its facilities span two properties in the Scone area, covering more than 400 acres and including over 35 boxes and a dedicated foaling unit. The operation is based on the renowned Kanangra property, where Group 1 winner In Her Time was bred by Fred and Mary Mosses.

North offers services across several stages of thoroughbred breeding and sales. Its sales consignment team prepares horses for major Australian sales, with a focus on presentation and readiness for their future on the track. The business also provides foaling and breeding support, with experienced staff and veterinary care available around the clock. For clients seeking guidance or purchases, stud manager Mick Malone attends major bloodstock sales annually, selecting horses and offering bloodstock advice.
