## Description

The North Devon Show is a traditional one-day agricultural show and celebration of rural life, held annually on the first Wednesday in August in Umberleigh, Devon. Run by the registered North Devon Agricultural Society, a charity formed in 1966, the event welcomes families, visitors, exhibitors and local businesses for a full day of entertainment and agricultural activities.

The show features competitions for cattle, horses and sheep, alongside a dog show and displays celebrating harvest and home life. Visitors can explore trade stands, enjoy food and drink, and take in live music and other attractions across the showground. The event also offers opportunities for businesses to participate through trade stands and sponsorship packages.

The 50-acre showground at Umberleigh Barton Farm includes extensive parking, with free parking available for cars and buses operating from various locations. The North Devon Show provides ticket sales, including advance tickets and carer tickets, and shares practical visitor information such as directions, facilities and nearby accommodation.
