North East Educational Trust (NEET) is a registered public charitable trust with the aim of enhancing children's capacity for critical thinking and creative expression through innovative methods of learning and teaching. They offer a range of programs and services to achieve this goal. NEET runs language learning programs in government schools and operates a Community Library cum Resource Centre.

They also have an Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program. The trust conducts capacity engagement programs for educators and grassroots organizations, focusing on language teaching, learning, and creating vibrant library spaces. NEET is actively involved in curriculum development, translation, and the creation of quality children's literature in Assamese.

In addition, NEET has developed teacher guiding documents to support teachers in their classroom transactions. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, NEET introduced online classes. They have also expanded their language learning program to 18 schools in three clusters of Kamrup(Metro).
