# Northfield Hockey - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `northfieldhockey.net` ## Description Northfield Hockey is a pioneering and leading brand that offers a unique approach to hockey development. As the first USA Hockey Model Association, they have embraced the American Development Model (ADM) and cross-ice hockey at the 8U level. This innovative teaching philosophy has debunked several misconceptions that are commonly associated with youth hockey. Firstly, Northfield Hockey recognizes that smaller spaces and more practices actually enhance the kids' enjoyment and skill development. By allowing them to have more touches on the puck and experience success, the players are constantly engaged and having fun. Secondly, Northfield Hockey understands that at a young age, learning systems is not crucial. Instead, they prioritize refining basic skills, instilling a love for the game, and creating a strong foundation for long-term player development. Contrary to popular belief, winning should not be the main focus at this level. Northfield Hockey emphasizes individual skill development and enjoyment of the game, which ultimately leads to a positive and fulfilling experience for all players. Additionally, playing other sports is encouraged by Northfield Hockey as it contributes to overall athleticism and mental well-being. It gives players a break from the rink and keeps their passion for hockey alive. Lastly, Northfield Hockey believes that smaller ice surfaces are more effective in developing players' skills and unlocking their full potential. Numerous success stories have emerged from their ADM adoption, with players progressing to high-end travel hockey and even catching the attention of college teams. With their innovative approach and commitment to player development, Northfield Hockey is a brand that prioritizes fun, skill-building, and long-term success in the sport. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/northfieldhockeyassociation) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idD7nt5lg-/w/120/h/112/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1754484945150) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idD7nt5lg-/w/1080/h/1080/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1754484945440) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Galliano | #e1af10 | accent | | Shark | #23282b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Titillium Web — asset _(google)_ - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
