## Description

Ritterkunst Fechtschule is a historical European martial arts school in Canton, Georgia, north of Atlanta. Founded in 2015 by Jessica Finley, the school studies the martial tradition of Johannes Liechtenauer through direct engagement with medieval sources and a holistic approach to practice. Its instruction covers longsword, sword and buckler, messer, dagger, wrestling (Ringen), and fighting in armor, also known as harness fighting.

Classes welcome people of varied backgrounds and abilities, whether they are interested in historical manuscripts, physical fitness, skill development, or competition. Sessions typically begin with a guided warm-up, continue with paired drills, and finish with free-play or sparring. The schedule includes longsword classes, Wednesday armor training, and rotating study sessions on Thursdays. Beginner longsword courses are offered according to demand; newcomers can attend Tuesday longsword classes when a dedicated beginner course is not available. Visitors are welcome to join a class or observe. Ritterkunst Fechtschule trains at Inspiration Martial Arts Freehome, at 12420 Cumming Highway, Suite 302, in Canton.
