## Description

Norwich Jujitsu Club is a martial arts and self-defence club that has taught traditional Ju Jitsu in the Norwich area for more than 20 years. It offers practical training for adults in a relaxed, friendly environment, welcoming both beginners and experienced martial artists from different disciplines. The club’s approach focuses on straightforward techniques intended to help students respond to attackers regardless of size or strength.

Training covers a broad range of Ju Jitsu methods, including strikes, blocks, pressure points, joint locks, strangles, hold-downs and throws, as well as knife defences practised with wooden knives. Sessions typically combine warm-ups, fitness work adjusted to each student’s level, instruction through an approved syllabus, practice and a warm-down, with an emphasis on learning at a steady pace and enjoying the experience.

Classes take place at Harford Community Centre on Hall Road in Norwich, a venue described as modern, well lit and air conditioned, with free parking and new mats. Regular sessions are held on Tuesday evenings and alternate Thursdays.
