What sets Nostr.build apart is their commitment to providing a free and community-focused service. They prioritize transparency, open-source code, and a community-driven approach to media moderation. Nostr.build started as a free media uploader for the Nostr social media platform and has since evolved to become a web-based API that allows users to upload their favorite media seamlessly. Their platform ensures the accurate and long-term storage of uploaded media without any ads or commercial advertisements. Nostr.build also offers additional features like profile picture uploader, API integration, and support for Nostr applications and projects. While the basic services are free, Nostr.build also offers paid accounts with premium features. These accounts not only provide access to enhanced functionalities like Bunny.net CDN network for videos and larger file size uploads but also contribute to the sustainability of the free service. Proceeds from the paid accounts are utilized to cover expenses such as AWS, CDN, storage, development, and domains. By purchasing a paid account, users not only enjoy premium features but also support Nostr.build in maintaining its commitment to providing a free, no ads, and open-source service for the Nostr community. Some of the features of a paid account include the ability to post media on the Creators page, no restrictions on file size uploads, access to a private gallery, and an extensive collection of over 500k images, GIFs, and videos uploaded on Nostr.build. Additionally, users can utilize the BTCPay Server account for secure transactions. Nostr.build is dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for its users. They provide detailed instructions on how to use account-related features, including creating folders, moving media, and deleting files or folders. They also have a View All feature to browse through all the free uploads on Nostr.build, excluding paid accounts and profile pictures.
