## Description

Nova Innovation is a world-leading tidal energy company that specializes in transforming the power of our seas into clean, predictable electricity. With a mission to combat climate change and drive the blue economy, Nova Innovation designs, builds, and operates tidal turbines that harness the natural ebb and flow of tides to generate electricity. Their innovative products and services include turbine services, energy systems, and energy storage solutions. In recent years, Nova Innovation has achieved several significant milestones. In 2020, they celebrated their 10th anniversary by expanding the world's first offshore tidal array in Shetland, Scotland. This expansion included the addition of a new direct-drive turbine, which reduced the cost of tidal energy by a third. Furthermore, Nova secured power purchase agreements with Nova Scotia Power in 2019 to install 15 turbines in Nova Scotia, Canada. A notable collaboration occurred in 2018, when Nova partnered with Tesla to create the world's first grid-connected tidal power station. This power station combines Nova Innovation's tidal turbine technology with Tesla's energy storage, enabling the delivery of baseload and dispatchable power to meet demand. Since their founding in 2010, Nova Innovation has been at the forefront of developing and implementing sustainable energy solutions. Their commitment to clean energy, innovative technologies, and global vision has made them a leading player in the tidal energy industry.
