## Description

Novel-in-Progress Bookcamp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting writers as they develop book-length projects and navigate the craft and publishing process. Its flagship offering is an immersive, week-long writing retreat featuring three programs: Retreat, Workshop, and Book Coach. Participants choose between two tracks, All-Genre and Speculative Fiction, and work in small groups with instructors. Before the retreat, instructors review each writer’s samples and goals to provide individualized guidance. The program balances writing, instruction, practical feedback, and community, and is open to writers of fiction across genres and to creative nonfiction writers.

Support continues throughout the year through articles, news, and resources intended to inform and encourage writers. These include writing tips, reading recommendations, peer-review opportunities, and updates about authors and their work. The organization also spotlights books by past retreat attendees. Novel Bookcamp aims to foster a welcoming community while helping writers strengthen their manuscripts, build skills, and learn about publishing trends. Donations help support its nonprofit mission.
