## Description

Novus Tempus is an independent, self-funded institute for humanistic peace research, founded in 2016. Its work focuses on energy in the context of political geography and sensitive areas of international politics. Led by Werner Francis Schultze, the institute examines geostrategic challenges and perspectives arising in an interconnected world. Its research considers the management of finite resources and the use of renewable energy, alongside the social currents and cultural patterns that shape societies and have global effects. Novus Tempus views society as a kind of intellectual architecture, formed by symbols, language and structures that reflect how people understand themselves and the world. The institute shares scientifically grounded data and analysis with the interested public, aiming to support clearer understanding, informed political opinion and democratically responsible decision-making. Its website also offers books, blog posts, media reports and updates on current projects, including “Abrechnung mit Gott” and “Die Blüte der menschlichen Zivilisation.” Visitors can learn more about the institute, explore its publications and analysis, subscribe to its mailing list, or make a donation.
