## Description

Nova Orchester Wien is a Vienna-based orchestra shaped by a wide range of musical traditions, with more than 40 nationalities represented among its members. Led by chief conductor William Garfield Walker and joined by guest conductors, the ensemble performs at leading venues including the Musikverein and the Wiener Konzerthaus. Its programming brings familiar classical works together with new music and rarely heard scores, inviting audiences to discover both the richness of the repertoire and the details of each performance. Upcoming programmes include music by Mahler, Schönberg, Bruckner, Mozart and Arvo Pärt.

Beyond its concerts, Nova offers ways to explore music through pre-concert introductions, videos, photographs and a concert archive. Its Academy and Education initiatives include school projects and opportunities for people to make music together. The orchestra also welcomes support from individuals and partners to help fund rehearsals and performances, and provides information for press, prospective employees and musicians interested in auditions or internships.
