## Description

Samara Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Research and Production Center is a shared-use innovation and manufacturing hub based in the Samara region of Russia. Established as the first regional center in a planned network, it supports the development of the country’s industrial capabilities and technological independence, while advancing the national UAS project. The center offers resident innovators access to production infrastructure, helping developers test ideas and assess aircraft in practical conditions without building their own technology lines.

Its services span prototype and serial UAS production, component development, certification and accreditation, flight testing, education, maintenance, and access to shared facilities. Available production assets include CNC metalworking equipment, carbon-tube and battery-cell production lines, SMD board assembly, laser cutting, injection molding, and automated motor assembly. The center also operates an aviation training center for drone operators.

Through conferences and seminars, Samara UAS Center brings industry participants together to address flight range and all-weather performance, safe integration into shared airspace, digital platforms, and assessment criteria.
