## Description

NPE is a Finnish group comprising NPE Kulplan Oy and NPE Kulconsult Oy, with roots in process-industry and plant design dating back to 1980. Drawing on decades of project experience, the companies provide specialist planning and engineering services for process industries and facilities. Their offering includes automation and electrical design, testing, and commissioning, with an emphasis on quality, continuous development, and achieving successful outcomes together with clients.

NPE also operates in language education, a business area launched in the second half of 2024. It offers language courses for immigrants, students, professionals, and private individuals, with teaching delivered mainly online through the Edico platform.

Since 2025, NPE has also offered Sentinare monitoring services. As a partner for AltumView’s Sentinare solution in Europe and the Nordic countries, NPE provides an AI-powered activity sensor for care and patient monitoring. The system tracks activity and can alert users to emergencies while respecting privacy through silhouette-based representations.
