## Description

Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch (NPH) is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on the preservation and appreciation of raptors in the Niagara region of Ontario. Established in 1990, NPH conducts annual counts of migrating raptors over the picturesque Niagara Escarpment at Beamer Conservation Area. This site, renowned for its ideal hawk-watching geography, hosts an engaging environment for both novice and experienced bird watchers. Each spring, NPH provides opportunities for the public to witness a variety of raptor species, including eagles, hawks, and ospreys, while educating visitors on their migratory patterns and conservation needs.

With a rich history dating back to 1975, NPH also supports volunteer involvement and offers educational resources to enhance the experience for guests. Community participation in events, like their annual watch from March 1 to May 15, fosters a deeper understanding of these magnificent creatures. Join NPH to celebrate and protect the avian wonders of the Niagara region, and contribute to vital conservation efforts.
