## Description

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) provides information and resources about research funding and National Research Programmes in Switzerland. Its website serves researchers and the public with programme overviews, research project details, findings, publications, news and events. Visitors can explore the SNSF Data Portal, which offers information about research projects and grants approved by the foundation, and use its grant search. The site also provides access to programme managers and contact details, alongside a newsletter for updates on SNSF programmes.

One featured initiative is National Research Programme 77 (NRP 77), focused on digital transformation. It examines how digital technologies—including smartphones, chat services and social media—affect everyday life, the economy, work, education and personal and political decisions. The programme shares research results and presents considerations for how Switzerland can shape its digital transformation, including through a synthesis report. The SNSF website is available in German, French and English, and links to its social media channels and broader information about all National Research Programmes.
