## Description

The National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT) is a prominent brand that offers comprehensive education, training, and certification for radiation protection technologists. Established in 1976 through the sponsorship of the Health Physics Society and the American Board of Health Physics, NRRPT aims to promote and advance the science of health physics by encouraging the education and training of radiation protection technologists. The NRRPT offers a rigorous credentialing exam that covers various aspects of radiation protection knowledge. This exam ensures that technologists possess a broad-based understanding of accelerators, health physics programs, power reactors, radioactive waste disposal, regulatory requirements, and more. The NRRPT also provides incentives and services to support the continuous education and training of personnel in the field. Endorsed by esteemed organizations like the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations and the Department of Energy, NRRPT registration is recognized as a mark of motivation and achievement in the field of radiation protection. With a commitment to maintaining technical competence and upholding the highest standards of professional ethics, becoming an NRRPT Registered technologist opens up opportunities for career advancement and recognition in the industry.
