## Description

NSK STATE is a virtual global state that operates without physical territory and is not connected to any existing national state. With the motto THE FIRST GLOBAL STATE OF THE UNIVERSE, NSK STATE offers passports to individuals who align with its founding principles, which are open to all regardless of nationality, sexual orientation, religion, or other statuses. The brand was founded in 1992 by the Slovene arts collective Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK), consisting of various groups like Laibach, IRWIN, Noordung, New Collectivism, and the Department of Pure and Applied Philosophy. NSK STATE has garnered a reputation across Western Europe, America, and Japan for its multi-disciplinary artistic works that comment on political events. Additionally, the brand is known for its vital role in the political and cultural history of Slovenia and former Yugoslavia, credited with shaping society and culture in 1980s Slovenia. The NSKSTATE.COM website serves as the virtual embassy of NSK STATE and provides a platform for NSK citizens, collaborators, and friends to engage and gather information.
