## Description

The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is an England-based alliance bringing together public, private and voluntary organisations, as well as individuals, committed to preventing suicide. Its members take individual and collective action to reduce suicide and self-harm and to support people bereaved or otherwise affected by suicide. The NSPA’s work is grounded in the principle that suicide prevention is everyone’s business.

The alliance shares practical information through its online Resources Hub, which features guides, reports, research and other materials to support suicide prevention work. It also runs a Lived Experience Network, seeking to ensure that lived experience is valued, respected and embedded in prevention activity. Through its role in the Suicide Prevention Consortium, the NSPA works to highlight suicide prevention as a critical inequalities issue in England.

The organisation connects its community through news, events, membership and opportunities to get involved. Its annual conference offers a further forum for discussion and collaboration. The NSPA also provides a monthly newsletter and directs visitors seeking immediate assistance to sources of support.
