**Brand Description: NS Publieksprijs**

The NS Publieksprijs is the prestigious award for the best book, determined by popular vote in the Netherlands. Established to celebrate literary excellence, it is the largest public book prize in the country. In 2023, Anya Niewierra’s "De Camino" was crowned the winner, securing 34% of over 106,000 votes, further cementing its status as a favorite among readers. The award not only acknowledges outstanding literary contributions but also encourages a community of readers who are passionate about sharing their love for books.

In addition to recognizing exceptional literature, NS Publieksprijs promotes reading as a cherished pastime, especially during train journeys. By offering access to book excerpts and audio snippets through their platform, NS promotes reading as a means to relax and enjoy one's travel time.
