# NSRV Obelix - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nsrv-obelix.nl` ## Description NSRV Obelix is a student rugby association in Nijmegen, founded in 1970 and known for its green and yellow colours. The club welcomes students of all backgrounds and experience levels, offering a friendly setting to learn rugby, compete and build lasting connections. In the 2025/2026 season, Obelix fields a men’s team in the third division and a women’s team in the second division, which plays in a regional cluster with other women’s teams. Both teams train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and play matches on Sundays. New players can join the Young Dogs beginners course, held twice a year. This seven-week programme introduces participants to rugby fundamentals and the club’s culture. Interested players are also invited to attend regular training. Obelix provides rugby clinics for a wide range of groups, promoting the sport and its values of cooperation and respect.
