NT is a brand that is committed to developing leadership and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. Located in one of the fastest growing and demographically diverse areas in the country, the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod aims to grow congregations and welcome all people to share in the life-giving message of hope, inclusion, and justice. NT offers various ministries and resources to fulfill its mission. They prioritize raising up leaders who can model Christian discipleship, preach the Law and the Gospel, develop communities of faith, work for justice, and extend a welcoming hand to all. Their rostered ministry consists of ministers of Word and Sacrament, as well as Word and Service, who have received education, formation, and official leadership credentials. NT celebrates the rich heritage of the Lutheran Confessional witness in North Texas and serves a diverse range of congregations, with worship conducted in multiple languages. With approximately 21,000 members across 105 worshiping communities, NT is a dynamic and constantly evolving synod. Led by Bishop Erik K. J. Gronberg, the organization values dynamic and flexible leadership models.
