## Description

NuFoods Biotech (NZ) stands at the forefront of sustainable algae bio-manufacturing, specializing in high-purity EPA Omega-3 and bio-active protein powders. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, the company addresses the growing global deficit of Omega-3 and protein through innovative, carbon-negative biotechnology. With wild fish stocks failing to meet rising demand, NuFoods has broken the conventional supply chain by cultivating microalgae directly, eliminating reliance on overexploited marine ecosystems. Their proprietary photobioreactor technology ensures pure, plant-based ingredients while achieving a closed-loop system that recycles 95% of water used in production. NuFoods offers a range of products, including plant-based Omega-3 for nutraceuticals, high-density algae protein for food and animal feed, and sustainable alternatives to fishmeal for aquaculture. Additionally, their bio-fertilizers utilize nitrogen-fixing microbes to enhance soil health and sequester carbon. With a commitment to renewable energy and environmental sustainability, NuFoods Biotech is dedicated to defining the future of nutrition.
