## Description

Nursing Now Challenge is a global programme of the Burdett Trust for Nursing, a registered charity, focused on developing leadership opportunities for student and early-career nurses and midwives. Relaunched in June 2021 as the successor to the Nightingale Challenge, it works with health employers, universities, colleges and individuals around the world. The programme invites people and organisations to join its growing international network and connect with members, regional leads and other contributors.

Its activities include leadership development, insights and training, alongside initiatives such as the Global Solutions Initiative and a programme on nurses and midwives for planetary health. The organisation also shares learning through resources, events and the Grassroots podcast, and offers opportunities such as leadership coaching and development. Its website provides programme information, news and ways to get involved, including details of webinars and international celebrations. Through these activities, Nursing Now Challenge aims to support nurses and midwives to build leadership skills and contribute to change in health and care.
