## Description

Nuzzl is a dating app designed for dog lovers and pet owners seeking connections with people who share their passion for pups. The platform promotes safer, more intentional dating through live-verified profiles, intended to help users confirm that they are communicating with real people who look like their photos. Its matching tools let members filter by preferences such as politics and dietary choices. Nuzzl also has a No Ghosting Policy that encourages users to message after matching, with strikes for those who do not follow through.

Beyond online dating, Nuzzl organizes monthly dog-friendly singles events in Austin, where attendees can meet in person, bring their dogs, and support local rescues. The events are open to people who do not use the app. The company is currently in beta testing, and its beta test is closed; people can join a city waitlist to express interest. Nuzzl’s site also mentions a Premium Pass and PetSmart gift cards as limited-time rewards for beta testers, along with information about events, dating, and its community initiatives.
