Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) is a regional nonprofit land trust that has been serving the Northern Virginia community since 1994. Our mission is to preserve the land, water, and character of Northern Virginia by conserving natural, historical, and cultural areas. Over the past 25 years, we have protected over 7,000 acres of land in both urban and rural areas, benefiting more than 2.

9 million residents. We understand the importance of our work, especially in the face of climate change and development pressures. Our efforts today ensure clean water, vibrant forests, and thriving wildlife habitat for present and future generations.
